While visiting Amsterdam, a few months ago during my recent European trip, I scouted out the Flying Dutchmen Cocktails. I’d been following their Instagram account for quite some time and been dying to try their renowned cocktails. Flying Dutchmen Cocktails is a small, intimate and stylish bar owned by Tess Posthumus and Timo Janse. The cocktail bar is situated in the heart of Amsterdam central. They offer a selection of cocktails and the menu changes regularly. Aside from great cocktails, they keep everyone hydrated with the most amazing complimentary rose water. The idea being to refresh your palate between cocktails ensuring a true appreciation for the intricate flavours in each and every cocktail. The bar snacks are also very generously and continually topped up. At the time of my visit (March 2022) cocktails were priced at EUR12.50 each. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the Flying Dutchmen Cocktails. It’s no surprise that they’re listed as number 93 on the World’s 50 Best Bars. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Amsterdam.
