Epoka restaurant dish served on a decorative wooden hand

Epoka is fantastic fine dining restaurant located in the heart of central Warsaw. This region is known for its old town historic buildings and the restaurant can be found within the Raffles Europejski Hotel building. Under the leadership of Chef Marcin Przybysz, Epoka serves elevated Polish cuisine, inspired by centuries of Polish history. Chef Marcin is passionate about showcasing opulent Polish ingredients, evidenced through his delectably beautiful creations.

What to Order at Epoka Warsaw

Epoka offers a choice of two tasting menus, the ‘Short History’ as well as the more extensive ‘History’. Excellent optional wine pairings are curated by the sommeliers; Epoka also offers non-alcoholic drink pairings. Dishes showcase hero ingredients served in multiple tasty bites. Fresh trout is served alongside cucumber and sweet and sour sauces as well as topped on crisp crackers. Carrot is served with cream in a delicious crunchy tartlet. Other dishes include the chopped veal cutlets and the Parisian-style zander. Look forward to fresh mushroom custard served alongside dehydrated mushrooms and truffle; simply sublime. Standout dishes include the crayfish course; Chef Marcin expertly showcases decadent crayfish soup with cream (quite possibly one of the best things I’ve sipped) along with a crayfish pudding and crayfish mayonnaise. Desserts are well balanced featuring fried tubers and honey. Wine pairings are incredible boasting diverse global terroirs including the likes of Épernay, Vinho Verde, Piedmont, Tuscany, Ribera del Duero, Southern Styria and even West Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Is Epoka Warsaw Worth Visiting?

Epoka is a beautifully sophisticated restaurant that seamlessly blends elegance with phenomenal cuisine. The service is impeccable offering a professionally polished yet genuinely warm inviting approach. Chef Marcin is redefining Polish cuisine with a truly innovative and inspired take on traditional foods. A must-visit dining destination in Warsaw, I look forward to returning. Expect Michelin stars to follow soon.
