Toadbury Hall

I recently went to one of my favourite places, Toadbury Hall. Toadbury Hall is a boutique country hotel based in the Muldersdrift area. It is the most beautiful and tranquil setting with stunning garden and lake views.

The hotel itself is also absolutely beautiful. I spent the night in one of the garden suite rooms. The rooms are spacious with huge ensuite bathrooms; classic and beautifully decorated. Waking up the next morning feeling relaxed and refreshed, I enjoyed a breakfast outside in the gardens. The fine dining restaurant, Wild Wood, offers breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. Toadbury Hall is also a very popular wedding venue so be sure to make a booking if you want to try out their restaurant. For breakfast I had the full English which was scrambled eggs, pork sausages, bacon, mushrooms, grilled tomato and creamed spinach. It was a good choice. The scrambled eggs were amazing! I also tried another breakfast. This was the flapjacks served with bacon, brie cheese and golden syrup; another great meal!

The service at Toadbury Hall is outstanding. I was well taken care of and had my every need attended to (as always on every visit to Toadbury). The views are breath taking! It’s the perfect setting for some quiet relaxing time or a special celebratory occasion. I love both the hotel and the restaurant and I look forward to my next get away at Toadbury Hall.
